• Show Current Date/Time

Using this tip, you can show the current updated date/time autonaticly when designing a page. The following is codes about this tip:

But, you'd better select 'Insert\TimeStamp' menu from FrontPage to add this functionality, insead put those codes directly into your page!

 

 

• Error : 'There is no server on port XXX.' or 'Unable to connect to a server at XXX port'

If you get above error message in FrontPage98, it seems that you have changed the IP address/port by some reasons. For an example, you openned Frontpage explore and editor while connecting to Internet, then you disconnected. The error would occur when you were saving any changement.

A easy way to continue your work, such as saving changement, is to CLOSE the Frontpage explore without saving anything, but do not close the editor. Then, re-open the Frontpage explore again. You may continue to edit or save your pages now.
