Pagoo delivers 'Voice to the Web' through its notification (including
ICQ notify, Pager notify, etc.), voice recording and playback technologies that integrate
the telephony system with the Internet. It cost $5 per month.
Pagoo Call Catcher requires is for the subscriber to set up Call-forward-on-busy
with their local phone company so that calls that would normally receive a busy signal are
sent to the Pagoo system where a message is taken and sent to the Pagoo subscriber.
If you are surfing on Internet, the caller will hear you greeting that you recorded
before. After leaving a message, a notification (may be from ICQ, even a Pager)
pops up (but you can not pickup phone like Bell's ICD!!!) on you computer about 10 - 20
secs later. Then you know someone JUST called you , and you can play
caller's voice message online.
If you are talking on phone (not on the Internet), the caller will hear "I'm
sorry, the person you are trying to reach is using the phone; please try
your call again later." . So, the caller know you are TALKING on PHONE, instead of
SURFING on WEB.
Preparation:
1). Setup Call Forwarding On Busy to number of "18007660314"
2). Disable Call Waiting if you have.
